As Black Friday and Cyber Monday quickly approach, video game companies and developers everywhere are slashing prices and offering deals, and Nintendo is no different. The Japanese company is offering major discounts on popular games, amiibo, accessories, and more.
This lets fans get popular Nintendo games for less, and is one of the few times that first-party games are available at such a steep discount throughout the year.
Deals on Popular First-Party Titles
The main highlight of Nintendo’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale is the significant price cut on many first-party Nintendo games. Starting on November 23rd, many retailers are offering discounts on select physical versions of games, starting at $29.99.
The games you’ll be able to find for $29.99 include Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 3, Nintendo Switch Sports, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
In addition to this, Nintendo is also offering the following games for $39.99:
- Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Princess Peach: Showtime!
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
- Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
Nintendo has also revealed that digital sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday begin on November 20th and end on December 3rd, but the company hasn’t revealed what games and other items will go on sale yet.
Additional Deals and Digital Discounts

While the games often steal the show around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Nintendo has other products on sale, too. For example, some amiibo figures are going on sale for $10 off at select retailers, including:
- Tulin, Riju, Sidon, and Yunobo from The Legend of Zelda Series Sages
- Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly from STREET FIGHTER 6
- STREET FIGHTER 6 Card Starter Set
Also, on November 30th, select retailers (including Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO) will have Samsung MicroSD Express Cards for $20 off, to ensure you have as much storage space on your Switch as you need.
However, those hoping for a Switch 2 console discount during Black Friday or Cyber Monday are likely to be disappointed, as the console was just released back in June.
According to Nintendo, 10.36 million Switch 2 consoles have already been sold (as of September 30th, 2025), and it continues to sell. As a result, there’s not much motivation for the company to offer a major discount on a new console that’s still selling well.
In addition to Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, the company has also announced a few in-store events coming up.
On December 6th, many local GameStop stores are hosting several demos of games like Donkey Kong Bonanza, Kirby Air Riders, Mario Kart World, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, and others. A week later, on December 13th, certain Best Buy locations will host demos for Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bonanza, and others.
Also, from November 15th to December 13th, there’s the GameTruck + Walmart Holiday Tour at select Walmart locations on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm local time. In addition to being able to try the Switch 2 and play select games, these events also offer free snacks, drinks, and giveaways.
With many popular titles on steep discount, and likely more offers to come once the digital deals are revealed, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are a solid opportunity to pick up Nintendo games or accessories you’ve been waiting to get your hands on.
